    possible food?

OK I was just about to change my activated carbon out with broken terra cott pot pieces and I was checking my filter and I have little thinks moving around in the filter and I was wondering what they heck can these be, and would they be able to make good like food, is it possible that they are Daphnia or a cousin of theirs?

Without knowing what your talking about or seeing a photo its almost impossible to "guess" at it.

Are these "little things" fry of some sort (ie. shrimp)?

Have you ever fed a live food? (could have obviously been drawn into the filtration where it multiplied off the waste in the filtration system

They could be shrimp, seeing how i have ghost shrimps, as for the live food I feed, I know it not that, I only have microworms right now.

they are just specks, in fact I can only see them with a bright flash light being shine down in the filter.

If they're live I would think more towards shrimp (I always find fry in the filter, before the pre-filter that is).

if they are ghost shrimp then what the best thing to feed them? would yeast water work for young ghost shrimp, or should I make a very fine powder fish food, or a mix of both?

never did the yeast water...I think powdered fish food would suffice (and actually they are probably thriving on leftover food from feedings that tends to accumulate in the substrate).

OK I'll make some powder food and feed them that, I may try some yeast water.
