the purple looks like it's probably coralline algae, which is good. But if you don't want it on the back of your tank, if your tank is glass you can scrape it off. White, i don't know. Looks like your having some green hair algae problems as well

looking again at the white stuff, i think it's coralline as well, just because it comes in many different stages. But to make sure it's coralline, run your hand over it and scratch at it a little to see if it's hard to come off or not, im no expert but i think that's how you tell. :D Because if it's not coralline, it's another type of algae

Looks like Cyanobacteria to me
If it comes off in sheets and has a nasty smell its cyanobacteria

+1 cool also know as red slime there is red slime remover that you can put in the tank to get rid of it. And the white are very small worms that grow in the places that are not cleaned off almost daily they can be scraped off with a razon they are sharp so dont use you hands.

do the little white things sorta look like small shrimps if so they are Copepods and/or Amphipods no harm some fish eat them although they only become a problem if u have a fish that gets the jitters from them walking all over it. This website got more info http://saltaquarium.about.com/cs/pestsc ... 061200.htm

cyanobacteria can be blown away using a turkey baster (slimey, burgandy-maroonish in color, and spreads rapidly creating a "blanket" of sorts)...then simply siphon/net the nasty stuff out of your tank. <--method I used when I had it.

the product kalebsdad21 is referring to is probably either Ultralife Red Slime Remover or Boyd Chemi-Clean...and then of course there's Chem Marin Stop Hair Algae for removing hair algae.

Yup, they have a product for just about anything you can think of...but BEFORE using a product you really need to get to the source of the cause--unless you want to constantly medicate (which imo isn't good for the inhabitants).

Cyano ime was phosphate related, but in your case can be nutrient OR light.
1st I'd ask what kind of water are you using? (ro/di)
2nd I'd ask what your readings are (test your nitrates & phosphates)?
3rd I'd ask about your feeding regimen and what your feeding also (excess food ALWAYS causes issues)?
