I don't know if the glass top I bought it's too big or don't know if I'm placing it right... I bought the specification of the size of the tank that would be 75 gallon which says on the box... I was wondering can someone show me how it supposed to be placed and what I need to do to put correctly? [banghead] Let me know guys I appreciate..

Another question which top it's suitable for my 75 gallon any would help???

Re: Glass Top problem!

The glass top should lay in the indention of the tank frame. It should have plastic that slides over the back which can be cut/notched to fit your equipment. Also, believe it or not...you should go by your tank manufacture when purchasing a canopy..as it will make a difference when it comes to fit.
(Ie. if you have a all glass brand aquarium you need a all glass brand canopy)
for a standard glass 75g measuring 48x18x20 the glass canopy should be 48X18

Re: Glass Top problem!

These the one I bought so you can see on these website .http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/p ... =3781.Yeah so the 1/2 inch still overlapping the frame part but some reason you can't really tell...On the right side of the glass is good but the left just overlap the frame...But the box says 70,75,90,110 gallon can use it.. and the dimensions are 48x18 exactly on the box. Like I said doesn't seem to be that bad.. but the thanks for the advice though... ;)

Re: Glass Top problem!

what brand aquarium is it?
Call fosters, they're good with customer service and explain to them your problem.
?defect maybe? Or your tank measurements are different (ie. show tanks).
