    I have a problem
In my 29 gallon fish tank i have been testing it and its 6.3 and i want it at 7.0 and so i added ph buffer 7.0 and it diddnt work.I did a huge water change because the local tapwater is like7.6 so added it and now its 6.5.
I only have a PH ONLY TEST KIT.Could it be ammonia, nitrates, plants, or something elese? The fish are fine i would like to get it 7.0 because of my angelfish.

i would say it's your tap water and you should have a masters kit to test everything and make sure it's ok. your fish might be ok now but you might lose them on the long run.

Fish can adjust to a stable PH, but can't deal with changes in PH. It'd probably be best not to bother fixing the PH.
Definitely get a master test kit to make sure you don't have ammonia or nitrite and minimal nitrate.
How frequently do you do w/c? Decaying food will cause a PH drop

Angels prefer 6.5 ph rather than 7.0. So if it's 6.5 leave it alone.

angels love the lower end Ph 6.6-6.8 for breeding just like discus do but will live in 7.6

7.0 is just the number that they call netural a few in either direction wont really mess with you too much

If you are trying to adjust the PH i would suggest only doing a . <point> 2 increase or decrease in 6-8 hours to give the fish time to adjust.

oh and if the tap is 7.6 see how long it takes for it to drop to the 6.5 you have in your tank

is that an electric jack demp. that i see to the upper right with your parrot fish & angels?
If so, once that lil guy gets bigger that can be the makes for a disaster...as jacks can be really aggressive and parrots can't defend theirselves well (beak mouth)...in addition to angles not having a chance.
I love the electric jacks, I think their soo pretty!

If your batting around 6.5 with angels....leave it.

One quick thing....ditch the chems. That is a disaster waiting to happen.

Also, if you can, check your GH and KH. You will have to get seperate test kits for that. Sounds like you have no buffering abitilty to maintain the PH level.

If you absolutely must raise the PH, look to adding a small amount of crushed coral.
