Parachromis Tank

So as you all know my female dovii decided to launch herself out of the tank and did not make it. So, I decided to move the male dovii into my 125 in the living room. I also moved my female jag into the tank. I moved the Jag first and then the Dovii. The jag is around 8-9" and the Dovii is like same size, maybe a little smaller. I also threw my silver dollars in there as dither fish. Well when I added the dovii I had to run to the store and came home to a tank full of "glitter". The glitter was the scales of the silver dollars, the Dovii HATES them and chases them nonstop. I witnessed a five minute territorial dispute earlier between the dovii and jag, but aggression has been minimal. They lip locked for mere seconds and then did the circle thing for a bit. I believe the Dovii w declared himself the winner, he is still cruising the tank in the open, but the Jag got the hiding place so I am not really sure. Anyway, I will try an get some videos/pictures as soon as my camera battery is charged. :twisted:


Edit: I forgot to add that neither has even looked at the catfish. Well, I take that back the Jag liked his rock pile, but couldnt take it over.

 

still in the 55 gallon lol where the heck else would they be?

Update, Jag just took a serious beatdown, shes back in the other 125, should I try the festae?
