They sell the cartriges at any petstore and you can even get them at Walmart and they are usually cheeper there . On a side note , I've used them before , they're not the worst filter but I don't think they are the best either . You have to make sure you clean them regularly or they tend to clog the inlet tube and strain the motor and they tend to die easily .

Yep, you'll have to use their replacement cartridges.

Wal-mart should have them. They usually come in a plastic bag packaging or a box. Basically they are made from filter floss and carbon.

Some of my filters are Whisper.... I have a BIG bag of filter floss I buy from Petsmart for my Magnum 350.

As whisper bags are just filter-floss and the bags are removable I just use my filter floss on the frame as I dont use carbon.... If you want to use the carbon they sell refill kits which include the filter floss and the carbon.... DONT throw out the plastic frame.

Disassembly of the cartridge, there is a clip on the top, pull it up and open the plastic wings clipping the filter floss on. Then just pull it off.

That a great idea, and it may be cheap then buying them already to throw in the filter.
