i was thinking about putting some powerheads into my tanks for increased water movement and to keep debris off the bottom of my tank and get it into my filter. ive seen the aquaclear(my prefered brand) quick filters for powerheads.i want to know if anyone has used these and if they are any good for anything besides quick mechanical filtration and if they give you the bang for your buck?

never used them, so I honestly can't say. I would think (if they take a sponge thingy inside) that if anything they would increase you benef. bacteria...which is always a good thing!

lol the 70 actually worked pretty good on the 10. after i fed them i just cranked up the flow and it cleaned up all the food for me if i gave too much.... had too turn it off though during feeding or it sucked all the food right into the filter before theycould even eat :)
