Redtail Update: Rehomed! (Announcement)

    Redtail Rehomed
    I have FINALLY found my Redtail Catfish a new home at Perfect Pets. Traded him in on some nice, small, CHEAP, tropical fish. If anyone has less than a POND I do not recommend owning one. Although I am gonna miss having him. :cry:

    Its a local Pet Store here in Richmond, VA. Close enough for me to walk to so it was kind of nice. The fish was stressed out enough just carrying him that small distance. He got his color back before I left so thats a good sign. Plus he's in a bigger tank now.

    Yeah, me too. Just sad to see him go. I've been looking at videos on You Tube and those things get HUGE!!!! I hope he gets a good home with a huge tank!

    Perfect Pets is one of my local pet stores.... I personally liked it better for my birds when Bill owned it.... but I think the fish department has improved now :) And I have been there a few times lately instead of Fin and Feather (which is opening a new store near Perfect Pets in the Contes Bicycle building)

    i got lucky when i had give my redtail up. he went the baltamore aquarium .

    perfect pets is ok... their reptile dept is tiny now.... but the fish selection is pretty nice :)

    Glad you found him a home. I saw your ad on CraigsList for a while. I even posted on MonsterFishkeepers.com for ya. I would love to have one myself but the size requirements might be a bit much for me.
