SA Cichlid Compatible Dither Fish?

    I have been doing some research on dither fish and wanted to get you guys and gals opinions on the matter. What do you think are the best dither fish? They will be going into a 125g tank with sa cichlids. Im leaning towards silver dollars, probably a group of 3 or 4.

    thats one hell of a dither fish.........but i alway's used something that was fast and would eat wasted food whether it be africans or whatever i could get at a good deal, btw why do you need dither fish and if it's sd you want i can get some prolly pretty cheap i will let you know

    Rainbowfish may work. Throw about 10 in there maybe.

    I went with silver dollars and love them. They are growing FAAST.

    I have a green terror and a couple jack demseys, dither fish just get destroyed. I can get 24 feeders to last about a 1/2 hour.

    I use platies for mine. Some may scoff at the idea of it because they're peaceful and cichlids are not, but they do just fine. Platies stay to the top mostly in my tank and it keeps my cichlid pair bonded.

    Just a thought.

    Although I do live SD's!

    Would about 3 SDs work in a BW discus tank?
