Just a few of my fish in my 120, 90 and 2 30's. Used a Nikon D80 with a micro lens, pain the in butt to try to focus in on these guys.

Thanks, the lemon Jake is one of my favorite when it is dancing with his ladies. He gets an awesome orange on his fins. Here is one more picture I forgot to add, this is part of a breeding trio:

Agreed! I have tried the Close Up filter (mine is a +10) and it is near impossible to get a focus on the fish! Patience is key and it seems you had it taking these pictures.

You will be a force to be reckoned with in the photo contests!

The key is to move the camera, not the focus on the lens. And use a manual focus, not automatic, move the camera towards and away. Those len's will give you a headache. Give it a whirl and let me know how it works out.

Thanks everyone, I'm going to get some photo's of my peacock tank and you need to see my snowflake cichlid, pretty awesome.

That is how I shoot my photos as Auto-focus just does not cut it on aquariums! I also do the "Step Zoom/Step Focus" (dont know if you get that but it is where you zoom and focus without touching your lens, ie YOU move)

Still my baby fish just move WAY too fast and dart away when I get near the glass and my older fish.... well I can do it with them, I just got tired of taking photos of them as I have WAY too many. They come to the front of the tank and show off for me EVERY time I come near the tank! :D

Actually #6 is a Pseudotropheus zebra long pelvic - Galireya Reef. Image #1 is a Red top dwarf afra.
