my sand sifter goby is MIA. he is no where to be found. i check the sand where he stay in but hes not there. there is no way he can get suck up by anything. hes just too big. hes about 4 inches. i just test the water today to c if he is dead or not and water is good. hes been MIA for about 2 day now. and not coming out for food. i also rearrange the rock and after that hes gone. can he be stuck under the rock. if he is, he should be able to dig himself out right. he did that the other time. any idea on wat i should do. i love the goby.

If you put a rock on top of him he's dead. He wouldn't be able to dig himself out with that much weight on him.

maybe hes hiding, if you crushed him you should get him out asap so that it doesnt throw off your water parameters

There aren't many options. Either you set a rock on him, he's hiding, or he "jumped" out somehow.

Well, if he's under it he's already dead.

when it comes to the point that your tank is full of corals, it doesn't make sense to break it apart for a fish.......
