I got this outta the UK from Ebay...been wanting to test it out for quite some time and it ran me $9.72 which included the shipping.

I received 2 of these small marine grade spirals that you can use to keep cucumber,Zuch.,etc weighted down in your tank WITHOUT bruising the "food".

I tried it with Zuchinni & it worked great...sank quickly...and the fish and plecos and corys just ravished the slice entirely!

I used my plant tool to easily retrieve it when all was done

    So far, I rate this ;) ;)

If that's what they are it'd be cheaper to run to Lowes and pick up something. :)

I'm sure they have something that's similar in the nail/screw/bolt section.

you wouldn't have to bend it like a corkscrew, just get something like a 5/16 stainless steel bolt about 3 -4 in long.

you could tie some fishing line and a bobber to it and then you wouldnt even have to fish around for it to get it out. You could just lift up on the bobber.
