    Leslie PMed me about someone spamming her about joining their site.

    I know about 8 of you opened the PM from that user and 18 others were sent. I have banned this user, notified their ISP and reported the site he was spamming to their host. I deleted the PM so anyone that hadn't opened it won't receive it.

    Sorry about this guys. :oops:

    I was one of the "lucky ones" to open it
    I did look at the forum they spammed and it sucks!
    It has horrible information and a lot of it was incorrect

    I got it and saw it too.... I did not like it! I checked out the Discus section which was basically one person who had all kinds of problems and nobody helping! :) I was about to report it to you Anthony as I knew you would not like it too much!

    Nope, not at all. :confused:

    The admin on that forum that has posted most of the "answers" and "explanations" has no clue to what they're talking about. One thing that stuck out to me is that they claim ich is caused by a "chill in the water".

    ah! that must of been the pm that said it was already removed. Thanks Anthony...if I wanted to goto another site I think I'm educated enough to find my way there without needing links. However, I have to say I am quite happy here as the majority on your forum are quite friendly and give great first hand advice :)

    I got that PM as well, checked it, and saw it was removed. So that explains that. thanks! Speaking of other forums, that guy that got booted off of here and created the copycat forum keeps posting ads for it on craigslist. I laugh every time I see them.

    Posting on CL isn't spamming... E-mailing users that are selling fish is Spamming, which is what he's doing. That's off topic though...

    LOL, I got spammed by him, joined his forum, noticed all the crickets chirping and realized the site admin was a 13 year old punk. so now I'm here! yay! seriously though, I hope no one goes there for serious help.
