Okay guys. I'm trying to come up with a list of fish to keep in my tank. So far I just have the bicolor blenny and tomorrow I'll be picking up a Bluestreak Cleaner Wrasser.

I'm considering maybe a Flameback Angelfish at some point, or a Flame Angelfish.

I'm planning on the tank being mostly live rock with maybe an anemone or two and some feather dusters.

I've had one of those guys before. Very pretty, but I'm looking to keep fish I've never had before.

I was going to get a neon goby but the LFS said they haven't been able to order then for over a year.

Don't get a cleaner wrasse. They never survive well in the home aquaria and need special conditions. There are many LFS that won't even carry them because of their low survival rate and they are very important fish to have in the wild.

As far as the anemone goes, you *could* fit one in there but many people will say that 30 gallons is too small. You'd also need to wait a year because its highly recommended to have a very established tank before adding one.

If you really want an angel I would say that the angel and blenny are all that you could have in that size tank. They both get relatively large and produce a lot of waste. I can't remember if you want corals or not though and angels usually aren't the most reef safe. Angels also like to swim around a lot.

If you wanted you could get a royal gramma, fire fish, gobies, cardinal fish, clowns, those are all fish that stay small and like to be in smaller tanks.

i've had a cleaner wrasse that has survived and he's been with me for 7 months  .......if they pass 2 months in your tank then your all set with them.

a goby would def. be a nice addition.... ;)
a flame angel would be good but they may start to pick at corals.....

I'm not planning on getting corals so I'm not worried about that part.

You also have a much more established and bigger tank. That being said you are probably one of the only people who have had one survive, most people can't get them to live very long.

true but i picked mine up when my tank was only 3 months old......i guess i'm just lucky.....

anthony i think you should hold on, on any fish that isn't hardy until your tank has been up for awhile.....

Anthony I think we suffer from the same problem, impatience lol! There is no way in heck that I could wait three months to add anything to the tank.

Yeah, I don't have any patience. :) I've only waited months to add fish the first time I had a saltwater tank. After that I just added them within a week or two and never had any problems. *Shrugs* I even had a Mandarin Goby so HA ! LoL

For what it's worth, I've been testing the water every night and it's been right where it should be.

I would wait to add any more fish until you get all of your live rock in your tank, just be patient, you don't want to loose money and kill fish :)

The fish has to be quarantined for weeks (That's right, I'm going to quarantine him! LoL) so during that time I'll be adding the rest of my live rock. I'm going to order it online I think.
