    Today my Red Zebra and Yellow mated :] I'm stoked she has the eggs in her mouth.The male fertilize the eggs did the little dance poof soon to be babies.... YAH! I'll be spilting the tank these week and mom be alone.. I'll be posting picture soon ... :D ;)

    I have beteen 12-16 10 month old just showing real colors Should know all of their sex's by end of dec.

    The easiest way you'll know once they start on maturing they turn yellow male and the female would stay the same soild color... I hope that helps...

    I can of have some bad news...the female cichlid might eaten the eggs :|
    can of noticed that when the food went through the egg crate.. she started to eat...It was can wierd [scratch] but she didn't have anything in her mouth besided the food.I was can of bumed out,but it's her first so I guess I'll have to transfer to nursery fry tank next time.. so if anything she'll be isolated from the others as soon as she has her next litter..She'll have the fry there and be removed once she has her next batch of eggs... Just so I'll let you guys know ....
