Suggestions For The Trading Post

    I've been thinking about limiting the trading post to members that have X amount of posts. Maybe 10 or 15 posts before they're able to post in that section.

    What do you guys think ?

    I have seen many that post 1 on trading post never to be heard from again.... and I am new so it must be common!

    Yeah, that's what I want to eliminate. I don't like that at all.

    What I dont understand, why do they wast their time on here when Craigslist is much better. I mean, really there are what 200ish users on here and only about 15-30 fairly active.... you have to register to view the trading post.... I dont get it.

    I've made a 15 post requirement for the Trading Post. I've PMed those users that already had posts in there that did not meet the requirements and gave them 48 hours to complete their 15 post minimum. If they don't their ads will be deleted.

    Hopefully this will work out.

    lol i think most people want to see what there is to trade and stuff for me wen im done with my hw done searchin craigslist done checking e-mail bored form playing games i check this at like the end of every day lol suz i no i signed up for other forums and NO1 is active but this one has like 5 only -.- sorry i have no ideas on how to help more people beome more active

    Users with less than 15 posts can still view the Trading Post. I'm just not allowing them to join the forum and their first post be in the Trading Post and we never hear from them again.

    With all the topics, questions, suggestions, photos etc etc you could easily do 15 posts.

    Yeah...15 is not alot at all. I'm not extemely active on this board, but could get 15 up pretty quick, and not 15 worthless posts.

    its not that hard you can make your own post etc and i dont get it why dont people use trading that much no more?

    I'd rather put fish up in the trading post that I want to sell or get rid of than put them on craigslist or elsewhere. I have more confidence that someone on here would provide proper care and know what they are getting than the average consumer out there....especially here in Richmond.
