I love sand bottoms. Do you find it hard to clean?

Oh okay. I've never seen Ps. Saulosi fry. They look almost exactly like Red Zebras.

Sand is easy to clean if you have a couple synodontis cats! They do a great job of keping it clean! I also vac it a bit when I do my water changes, overall it stays pretty clean.

I will never use sand again after I did years ago. Between myself stirring up the sand and the fish doing it as well, it was always getting into the filter and causing problems

I have no problem with sand in a Discus tank. Sand bottom with breeding (trying to) Oscars is horrible. My tank always looked like a sand cloud and filters were always grinding from the sand. My Discus seem to like the sand as they blow around the bottom looking for food.

Also the sand holds the plants in pretty well and seems to keep them healthier. I had a higher loss rate of plants with gravel.
