Texas Greetings

Hi! My name is Joy. I have had lots of different fish over the years. This past Christmas, I decided to give myself something that I have wanted for a long time- an Oscar. I shopped around a bit and finally found the one I wanted. It was beautiful with red spots on its little one inch long black body. I brought it home immediately. I took a few days to decide on a name. The first name we thought of was Oscar, but that was just too easy. I dont know why, but the next name that came to mind was Felix. That idea was quickly squashed. Then, eureka!- It hit me. Felicia! Yes, that is the perfect name. She is too pretty to be a boy fishie. Well, that name didn't exactly stick. I have a friend with a one year old who is just starting to talk. She loves to look at the fish and gives the tank lots of kisses. One day, she called the fish Fifi. and wat do ya know-it stuck. I have had Fifi for 6 months now and she is already about 6 inches long. I think she is probably the most spoiled fishie ever. Long live Fifi!
