unknown algae

    Hello all I have a question I have some algae that is string like it kinda looks like moss but Its getting every its growining on the rocks only so can anyone give me a idea what this can be I'm thinking the protein levels maybe to high so any ideas on what this please any help is good help I have a 95 gal tank with ref skimmer , and squid intake and all the bells and whistles thank you

    Can you take a picture of it ? The first thing that comes to mind would be hair algae.

    is it cynobacteria? Cynobacteria is a burgandy color and can become whispy and will quickly spread. What color is it? Picture?
