    1st one Powder blue cichlid - Pseudotropheus socolofi

    2nd one is Electric Blue Hap - Sciaenochromis fryeri

    Would they spawn together? The only thing i have in the tank is the two of them and a pleco. Now i have what seems to be fry swiming around the tank.

    I'm pretty sure the bottom one is not a blue hap. He has more of a pseudotropheus face. Here's a pic of a juvinile blue hap with a yellow lab....notice the shape of the face. Sorry I don't have a better pic right now.

    It could be a juvenile pseudotropheus lombardi (kenyii)

    I agree with bob. The shapes look the same only the stripes are different.

    Are they both the same? I have what looks like possible fry in the tank and they are the only fish in it.
