    what do you use

    what do you use to soften your water?

    i am thinking of going back to RO since i have gotten a couple of batches of discus and angel fry from plain old tap water at 7.3 ph just to prove to a couple of fellow hobbiest that it can be done.

    Because of the fish I keep I don't soften mine. People I know that keep soft water fish normally use the RO units.

    I use to use what is called Tanksoft and forget who made it. You might want to go to Thatpetplace.com and check with them.
