See signature for current fishys ...

Thinking of passing the red eyed tetras to a new home though, they spend all their time hiding in my tank and I never see them. Didn't realize until after I got them that they can be up to 3" big, I think they'd be happier in a 55 gal. I'm trying to get my BIL to set his big tank back up so I can give them to him!

If I can find a new home for them I'd like to get some blue and gold platys. I do like the livebearers, they are so much fun. If I had a dream 55 gal, I'd have angelfish. No room for a 55 gal though, and in this old old old house of mine I'd worry about the floors supporting it! Too many makeshift foundation supports in the basement already! Nevermind all my floors are a bit off kilter, and I was lucky enough to find a level spot for the 29 gallon. But I digress, I love this old house. :D

I have kept many fish, oscars, cichlids from all over the world, catfish, and lots of tropical community fish. I had pretty good luck with all of them and ended up selling them once they got too large for their tank or passed them onto ex girlfriends who had bought them etc. I have always loved my cichlids though and I have devoted my 55 gallon to them. I am looking for a cuckoo catfish (I would prefer to find a baby but I will take what I can get) and I am preserving room in my tank for a breeding pair of some sort of africans that I have yet to fall in love with. One day when I have the money and room I plan to get a bigger tank to move my cichlids into and then would love to devote my 55 to discus.

Currently planted tank with cherry shrimp, too many baby bristlenose plecos, a clown pleco, a lone albino corydoras (note to self, buy him some friends), dolphin fish, serpae tetras, glow danios, long finned danios, blue gouramis, bamboo shrimp, mystery snails, trumpet snails, umm...i think that's it?

What I want to own, I used to own, and can no longer own. :x Saltwater fishys :D
