    Big als is usually gonna be your cheapest. For food and some supplies, especially filters go with....
    <a class="postlink" href="http://www.kensfish.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.kensfish.com</a>
    Ken makes his own food and sells it in bulk cheaper than ANYWHERE you will find it.

    Kensfish foods will cloud the water( they dont have the chemicals in em tetramin does to stop it but just feed less), I use em and always will now after the true difference in the fish is seen, great product, great quality, great prices. I mean 1/2 pound for under 4 bucks, you cant go wrong, he has TONS of foods and products and his customer service is top notch.

    Bought kensfish algae wafers and clouded the water and turned into dust/mush...won't buy food from them again, however there other items are fairly priced and of good quality...so will buy those types of things (prefilter, pleco logs, decor).

    these are most of the stores I've purchased from and haven't had any issues with:

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.kensfish.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.kensfish.com/</a> (I don't buy there food...but prefilters and decor are reasonably priced)

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.plecocaves.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.plecocaves.com/</a>

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.pets-warehouse.com/vpasp/shopdisplayproducts.asp?Search=Yes&sppp=16" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.pets-warehouse.com/vpasp/sho ... es&sppp=16</a>

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.petblvd.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.petblvd.com/</a>

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.petco.com/?AID=10414553&PID=1239657&SID=448Z20386Z9762771&cm_mmc=CJ-_-CID-_-1239657-_-10414553" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.petco.com/?AID=10414553&PID= ... _-10414553</a>

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.petsmart.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.petsmart.com/</a>

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.nlspets.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.nlspets.com/</a> (cheap decorations)

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.petsolutions.com/default.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.petsolutions.com/default.aspx</a>

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.dtpetsupplies.com/catalog/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dtpetsupplies.com/catalog/</a> (usually purchased additives from-ie prime..plant chemicals)

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.drsfostersmith.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.drsfostersmith.com/</a>

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.bigalsonline.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bigalsonline.com/</a>

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://rena-aquatics-outlet.planetrena.com/050-Filstar-XP-Parts-All.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://rena-aquatics-outlet.planetrena. ... s-All.html</a> (where I get my Rena Parts from)

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.melsfish.com/servlet/StoreFront" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.melsfish.com/servlet/StoreFront</a>

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.catalinaaquarium.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.catalinaaquarium.com/</a> (purchase light fixture from in past)

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.reefgeek.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.reefgeek.com/</a> (where I get my Giesemann bulbs)

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://uvcdepot.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=3645959" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://uvcdepot.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=3645959</a> (cheap turbo twist uv bulbs!)

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.oddballpets.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.oddballpets.com/</a> (local store I frequent when I get the chance...does stock some things online)

    [*] <a class="postlink" href="http://angelsplus.com/FlakeMeat.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://angelsplus.com/FlakeMeat.htm</a> (great quality/variety fish foods)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
    Best Advice:
    [*]shop around
    [*]compare prices with keeping shipping costs in mind
    [*]check to see if store price matches (for the items that were cheaper elsewhere)
    [*]check for online coupons before checking out---we have a coupon section on here too! & use any click through discount program that you can to save even more $
    [*]check Ebay too see if someone has it there for less, but make sure the transaction is Paypal Protected

    -> Foster and smith has the flat rate shipping going on...and there customer service is 2nd to none ;)

    In my area...the quality is much better online than buying at the brick and mortars. I've used aquariumplants.com several times for descent sized orders each time...and they've always stood behind their plants. Even replaced/refunded when I made the mistake of ordering ground when the weather wasn't at its best.

    a few plant sites:
    [*] http://www.aquariumplants.com/Default.asp?Redirected=Y" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
    [*] http://www.aquabotanicstore.com/aquariu ... e_s/20.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
    [*] http://www.oddballonline.com/plants.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
    [*] http://www.aquaticplantdepot.com/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
    [*] http://www.somethingsphishy.com/index.p ... 0152a704ae" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
    [*] http://angelsplus.com/DecorPlants.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
    [*] and of course Ebay & AquaBid
