I have kept so many over the years I can't really say the most exotic I have kept, I have had everything from flowerhorns (which aren't my cup of tea) to wild bettas....so what about you what is the most exotic for you...or some of the most exotic?

I'd have to say that the most exotic fish I've ever kept was probably a Brown Knife Fish, or a species of pike I had. Both, were wonderful fish.

Our oscars (3) and jack dempsey (before he died) has to be the most exotic fish that we've kept so far.

It's one of those "all you can do is dream" situations.

It is but it is also a lot of work she maintains over 100 tanks from 10-200 gallons.

Yes it is only the fish she keeps you will probably never see in a fish store, she has an AMAZING array of micro fish, inverts and some pretty big guys as well

Ugh been there, I used to have 125 tanks running when I was breeding apistos. I'm fortunate enough to have a store near me that stocks all of the unusual and hard to find species. I got some freshwater pipe fish from them a few years ago.

At one point when I had a 10 gallon saltwater tank, I owned a Green Mandarin. Absolutely, Amazingly, Beautiful fish! He was doing really well, growing nicely, ate Mysis shrimp like a champ, and then I had to go and put him in my 90 gallon nightmare..... long story short I lost him along with everything else....
