What is the name of this cichlid

    All the acei's I've seen have been more of a lighter blue/purple with yellow markings.

    I've never seen one that dark with orange markings. At this point I'm just going to say it's a hybrid.

    Ok I will take a stab at this...

    If I had to pick out a specific breed to lable this as I would have to go with...Drum roll please....

    A Deep water hap ...black/pundamilia macrocephala [bfish]

    Actually upon further review of the specimen..I am going to go with Copadichromis borleyi (Kadango)

    This is in fact exactly what I have specified...a female C borleyi (Kadango)

    Yes it's a Copadichromis borleyi. I missed that post and was referring to the hap suggestion.
