Wondering if my tank willl cycle again

    Hi currently in my 29gallon aquarium i have 25lb live rock and some corals although i am selling all of it to buy new stuffs and will be doing large water changes does this mean my tank will cycle again also in the time after my stuff is sold i have nothing other then sand bed should i leave tank lights on or off??? Also wondering if a snowflake eel can go in a 29gallon tank

    If you do not have anything in the tank to produce ammonia then your tank will have to cycle again.

    How long has your tank been running ? That would determine whether or not I'd leave the lights on a normal cycle or not.

    The tank has been running for a year it is a biocube with bioballs although it has had some ammonia spikes even to the point where my fish died
