I know, I seen the photos. I have a few of them in my tank also...they are really easy to "spot" in the tank. Cute lil buggers they are indeed.

    they get about 5" max
minimum tank size recommended is 10g (does better in groups though).
they are reclusive and eat just about anything they find.
so, I'd say you could put one in there.

You could put 1 in your 10g. You just won't be able to see him a majority of the time as they hide. I had one in a past 55g...would always hide in decor.

Splurge and buy 3. The more the merrier :) They do get to about 3" or so and are fun to watch in the tank. Mine come out at feeding time, and relax until lights out.

They eat most flake foods and any sinking tablets. They love live brine shrimp and live black worms too ...

    Re: 10g Stocking/Compatibility (Questions & Advice)

3 WILL be too many in a 10g with other inhabitants, maybe a 10g without anything else in it already...but that's not your case.
as alleycat said...they will eat pretty much anything and typically night feed on excess waste/food.

depends on what else you have in there. Their tinier buggers, if nothing else is in there I'd say a school of 7 would look nice.
