10g stocking help (Colorful fish wanted)

    Neons and Guppies ftw, going to your local pet store is probably the best way to see what kind of colorful fish you might want. Don't buy any your first visit, just go home and research ones that you like.

    Guppies and Endler's breed very easily, the others not so much.

    Keep in mind if they breed your 10 gallon tank will quickly become overstocked and you'll have to upgrade or give/sell the extra fish

    Depends on what they are. Guppies, IF you can get the store to buy them will only pay about less than half of what they charge for them.

    that stinks. but i guess sence you only raise them and buy them I guess you make some money....

    neons don't breed easily unless you puposely put two in another tank with the right water conditions. Guppies on the other hand are like rabbits, all you need to do is take out their fry and dump them in a different tank.

    In the fish world, You'll find most of the males are the ones that are coloful.
    I'd advise against females in a 10g since most will possibly be pregnant and you will quickly run out of room with fry.
