    I agree 100%! You and I think alike... :)

    I still have to figure out how to design it so it does not look as bare... like I said I might go back to my original hardscape from when I started this thread... Keep the Driftwood as the "Centerpiece" and move the plants around the outside closer to the glass with maybe a sword or 2 near the middle... I might mess with this some tonight... the ideas are flowing... :)

    Well... I re-hardscaped a bit.... I made that large piece of driftwood a centerpiece again.... I left my camera at work so a photo will have to wait til I bring it back home.... I actually went with a new design... most of the plants are in the same spot though... I moved a few just a little bit and a few swords across the tank... most of the driftwood got moved though but 1 piece.... (the one that looks like a "Y" on the left of the tank) That is the ONLY piece that I did not move...

    I will post pictures in the next few days of it now...

    Ok... so I remembered to bring home my camera... not my cardreader though...

    Sorry for the poor photo quality... I broke down and used my Blackberry to take the picture... it could be worse though.... It at least gives everyone the idea of how I re-scaped the tank

    BTW here is my current stock from what I can see... (those peroxide treatments KNOCKED DOWN most of my fish population)

    4 Wild Heckel Discus
    1 Mayan Jade Domestic Discus
    1 Brown Domestic Discus
    4 Oto Cats
    4 Cory Cats
    4 Cardinal Tetras
    A snail population I never asked for... :)

    Several Amazon Swords (reproduced a few times over)
    Several Chain Swords (bought 5 and now have about 20)
    A few Microswords (bought a large portion now only have a few)
    Purple Cobamba (bought about 5 no have about 20)
    Green Cobamba (bought 6 have about 6 after over a year)
    Stargrass (bought 5 stems got about 500 and now back to about 5 stems again)
    Red Wendtii 1 plant
    Java Fern (5 plants)

    your tank is awesome. is your poor discus ok? i put my fish in a cup when trasporting them. just to help them stay calm.

    Yeah they are fine... no problem with them... the problem was with the tetras... but that was a long while ago I had those issues. I have not dosed the tank with anything in months. I have lost some Discus though but due to other reasons.

    On the left half of the tank here is what is there...

    Back left corner - Purple Cabomba
    Just right of that - a few stems of Stargrass
    Front Left - Amazon Swords
    Front right near tip of Y driftwood - Red Wendtii
    Mid portion of Left Side - More Swords with a few short stems of stargrass staggered throughout

    The entire tank only has a few variety of plants because of the temp and PH settings I keep. Not much will live. That is one of the flaws to a planted discus tank is compatibility with plants and fish because of the water parameters.

    I REALLY do need to get a higher quality picture of the tank... still cannot find my CF Card Reader... looks like I will be buying another one VERY soon!
