Two should be okay in that size tank. Your filtration could be a big problem though.

Make sure you do REGULAR partial water changes, like 25% a week....do that, and I don't see a problem

I agree that the filtration could be a major problem, if you make the tank a planted tank and pack it with plants maybe you could get by with bob's suggestion of weekly 25% waterchanges (which I recommend no matter how good your filtration is).

Broadleaf plants are best with angels, gives them a place to spawn:)

Yeah, the plants aren't necessary and they will accept any in their tank.

The plants, although unneccessary, will provide filtration and tidy things up naturally

    Re: question about angel fish

They will spawn on broadleaf plants (that is how mine do) also if you wish to add a buffer get some "Proper PH 6.5" They do not sell it at Petsmart at this level but most of your smaller LFS should have it.

This IS a dechlorinator and you wont need prime when using it. It does help to soften the water a bit too.

Using chemicals to alter PH IMO is asking for a disaster. YES angelfish do prefer softer water but like any fish would rather have a stable PH than one that fluctuates. What is the GH and KH of your water?

Oh just wondering because these are what PH is directly affected by and will ultimately determine your PH.
