Just an updated tank shot. The plants are starting to grow a bit faster from the Excel and the L. Repens have started to turn red again.

I love those pieces of wood, it looks so natural and nice :) You have a wonderful setup! (I mean both of them actually)

I want to have some wood in my bigger tank later at some point, but it's pretty hard finding roots without any pointy corners (It would be messy trying to file them down, right?). I wouldn't want my moor to hurt his eyes :C

So I woke up this morning at around 5:30 and couldn't go to sleep. While just laying in bed my lights kicked on at 7:04. I looked up at the tank and noticed my one LED panel didn't come on. I thought great ! Got up and looked at it and it was on, just extremely dim. I flipped the switch on that panel a few times and it wouldn't come on completely. Finally about 15 minutes later it lit up 100%. Guess that means it's dieing and I have to buy another light system pretty soon.

I think I'm going to go with the new Wave Point Aqualight H.O. T-5 Dual Lamp Fixture.

the one I have on the 20g is really nice!
I looked at the wavepoints and considered those too (but mine was cheaper and bascially the same thing).

I've been looking around for fry because I noticed the one female I was expecting to drop was looking thinner but I couldn't find any. Finally today I happen to catch a glimpse of one swimming over the driftwood !

Thanks guys. I think a black background would make it too dark, no ?

That one LED Panel died today. [icon_evil.gif] The tank is really dark now.
