    I would too.... I am considering trying to "force" a pair... I have to do this VERY carefully and I dont recommend ANYONE to "force" pairs.... I do know what I am looking for so that does put me a bit ahead of many others...

    I think I can get them to pair if I get 1 Male and 1 Female in this tank alone together... the trick is picking one of each sex and not grabbing 2 of the same sex...

    I am leaving the wood in the tank and will add a few plants in it to keep it natural so assist in the pairing and the spawning.... the tank WILL NEVER be barebottom!

    forcing pair put 1 male and 1 female in a tank alone after a while they will bred unless they really hate each other just like real life =D

    i found some guy locally around here he has 30 about a year old he had them when they were babies and hes trying to breed them (he wont let me have a couple JERK lol)

    I dont have my hopes up on them spawning..... from what I have read/heard they are almost impossible to breed! You have to be lucky for it to happen.... actually there are people who say they have been bred in a tank but no photos of it!

    hey you never know you might be able to breed them but people dont recognize hekel with out the "wild" infrount of it

    every time i read this i think it say 55 gallon bucket.
