I'm selling a 55g tank that's being used in a SpEd Preschool classroom. I no longer work in that room, and haven't got the time to maintain it.
This is the heaviest 55 I've ever seen; very thick glass. There's no strip across it in the center, and there's a (kind of saggy) plastic canopy with it, as well as a single florescent strip light. There's a UGF panel and lifter tubes, an Emperor filter and a large Penguin.
I'll even throw in a substrate of hideous blue gravel. :D (the cypress piece and the lava rocks, I'm keeping)
The stand is shortish, very heavy steel, and as far as I can recall, the tank sits down inside a rim.
It's a durable moose of a setup; perfect for a classroom or a house with kids.
I'd like to get $250.00 for it, but will entertain offers.
This is at Johnson School, in Charlottesville, VA.
