    Its just been an observation on the species for the past year, I ordered those buggers from discusmadness and he gave me all the money less shipping back but even he was suprised at the body count and injuries sustained during a brawl.

    bolivians are a bit larger of a ram and are alot more territorial all around, I just lost my female bolivian but when they wernt spawning they were staying clear of eachother.

    GBR's and EBR's are your best bet to be honest,anthony.

    can also do http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikrogeoph ... tispinosus , the photo there doesn't do them justice...but I have them in my tank and the pink edging is sooOoo pretty!

    They get to be of a nice size and they're hearty buggers...at least that's always been my experience with them :)

    wow, lol! well the price for the fish was really cheap, haha!
    Maybe contact oddball's as I know they have them all the time and ship, unless Raymond can hook you up with someone who has them?

    If you are willing to take a trip up 81 Winchester pet and aquarium carries GBR's (nice young little ones) all the time for I think somewhere around $8.

    Im going to the cichlid swap next weekend, I can negotiate pricing easily on the rams as we do set them higher on sticker but have room to negotiate. I like this because I can get quality BAP stock and not fish farm stock, best best part is there is no inbreeding in the BAP bred fish lines.

    Ill see what goes down on the 18th, Ill see who is vending this weekend and shoot off emails. Im in the market too for the little guys.
