Trust me, it's killing me. It looks more like we have a pound of live rock rather than around 30 lol I can't wait until I get to the point where I'm able to add coral and fish. I'm going to start with low light corals (being that I'm on the low light end of lighting) until I pick up a halide pendant or two. With that I'm going to kind of form a spotlight effect and add higher light corals in that section. We already have a basic design for how we want to set the live rock up. Now it's just a matter of buying it.

Bought 10 more pounds of live rock today. I also bought a 2nd water pump and have that pointing more at the live rock while my 1st is towards the top to help with surface agitation. On one of the pieces of live rock, I noticed that there is definitely a hitchhiker coral. I'm not sure what type it is, though I think it's a mushroom. It's has a pink fluorescence to it, and it's shaped like a mushroom. I'll take and post a pic of it as soon as my camera battery is charged.

Yesterday I talked to ned, and he told me that where my tank was at right now, I shouldn't have a problem with getting a fish for the tank. Soooo I did. I got a Kole Tang. They are one of the hardiest, easy going, and smaller tangs in the family. They are also a bristletooth tang so he should eat any algae that might show up in the tank. He's still extremely shy and seems to only come out of hiding when I have the Blue lights on and when we're not right up net to the tank. It'll be interesting to see what happens with him.

sorry about that, been posting updates and pics in this thread about my 90 gallon reef build since February. Didn't realize it would cause a problem. I'll open a new thread in the pics section when I post new ones. again...sorry!
