    AFRICAN MOON TETRA
    Also: Bathyaethiops greeni, B. breuseghemi

    Family:African Tetras, Alestiidae
    Characteristics:About 2 in, male larger-finned.
    Tank/Water:37.5g, water types 2-4, 76-81F.
    Care:Group (about 10 fish) for tanks that are not too bright and have some water movement and loose plantings along the sides. Takes all smaller foods.
    Habits:Schooling fish found in open water in the clearwater streams of the Congo basin. Not in black water.
    Compatibility:For example, with Central African dwarf cichlids (such as Nanochromis sp.)
    Similar Species: B. altus, 3 in.
