algae problem in Flowerhorn tank

    my tank has some alge problem its grey like broom like alge can i put a apple snail with flowerhorns and let it eat it? angels? thanks

    Snails should be fine with the Flowerhorns, not angels though.

    you cant put any other fish with a flowerhorn, well you can, but not for long.

    search google for advice on what to keep with your flowerhorn, this should prolly be moved to hybrids section

    Yep...

    Have you tried looking into the cause of the algae ? Overfeeding, too much lighting etc ?

    i thinki found it its because its very close to my window so there always light on it during noon time

    The tank needs to be moved then. It will always be a problem and could cause an algae bloom and cause your water to literally turn green.

    How much sun does it get, is it direct or indirect? I have a few tanks that get sun and I never have a problem with algae.

    might be because of you waste my waste is kind of high from my flowerhorns and my alge problem went away when i got another one

    Turn you lights down and remove as much as possible with putty knife. Maybe a pleco
