It's because he's clear, he knows everyone can see right through him. Hahaha I crack myself up sometimes. :)

I'm just happy because my tank is crystal clear now. :D I ended up putting a piece of that blue/white filter stuff behind my "bioscrubbers". Apparently the filter insert doesn't work too well.

on the tetrax (or whatever it was called) you mean?
Ps. Petsmart had them on clearance in my area too.
I think the biggest one was I wanna say 30 or 35

    Not sure what tetrax is.

I wish it was on clearance when I got mine. I paid $40 for my EX45. I'm tempted to return it where I bought it and get one from PetSmart.

I meant to say tetraw (tetra whisper)

Does the place you bought it allow returns on used filtration?
<never had to return anything pet related besides and expensive dog toy that lasted only a min and pieces broke off that weren't supposed to>

    Yeah, on the Tetra Whisper.

Yep, 30 day return policy on the filter is what I was told.

    hmm..good to know!
You could always buy a clearance one...and use the receipt that you paid more for..would save you from having to remove it and clean it to return it?

I got mine from Pet Forum in Charlottesville. I asked them the other day about a price match and they said I needed a sales paper. The pet store across the street was $10 cheaper but they don't have sales papers and that was their regular price ! If I want to get it cheaper I'm going to have to return it to them and buy it from across the street or PetSmart but by the time I drive to CVille it's almost not worth it.

<--lesson learned, always check online first BEFORE going out to buy...especially a quick glance to ebay.
    Typically I use google shopping.

I just found out about the clearance because I popped in Petco the other day and petsmart tonight to get a sponge for the ac110.

I may end up riding there tomorrow because I need to get a pleco or something.

Either tomorrow afternoon or Saturday I have to meet my Grandparents to get my motorcycle tag then drive it from Jake's mother's to here so I'd have to go tomorrow morning.

Not really an "issue" but there's some growing on the driftwood. I don't want to let it get out of control.

I hate SAEs, they're ugly. If PetSmart has Ottos in I may try a few of those again but I'll probably still get a pleco in case those don't make it.

I looked for shrimp when I was there last but they didn't have any.

awe. they aren't bad in a school (I have I think 5 or 6 of them).

I stayed away from ottos because I heard they can take out your softer plants such as crypts?
