    BADIDS

    General:
This small, perchlike family from southern Asia wis admirers with its splendid colors during mating season.

    Biology:
The males of some species occupy small caves as their territory and spawn there with several females.
Then they gaurd the eggs and continue to care for the larvae until the young are free-swimming.
Once the juveniles are capable of swimming, no further parental care is given.

I have some of these but they haven't spawned and was wondering if anyone else on here have raised them? I need some pointers. Of my 6 only one is white with grey stripEs which I am thinking is the female.
