Dosing log and review on plant growth. I'm currently only dosing Big Al's Multi-Purpose Plant Food Supplement.

02/02/09) Added 1 cap full according to the directions. (said 1-2 caps per 20 gallons but also depends on the amount of plants in the tank)

    02/06/09) Added 3 cap fulls.

02/08/09) Added 3 cap fulls. I've noticed a good amount of plant growth on the all the plants in the tank.

02/13/09) Added 4 cap fulls. Everything seems to be doing really well.

    02/15/09 Added 4 cap fulls.

    02/19/09 Added 4 cap fulls.

02/19/09 All of the plants seem to be growing pretty well. Daughter plants grow like crazy once sprouted.

Do you think the growth can be attributed to the product though?

Good question and I honestly don't know for sure. This is the only plant product I'm dosing the tank with so unless light alone would cause the plants to grow so well then no.

I've stopped adding everything to my tank with the exception of prime.
The purple cabomba's are taking over...I am pruning them and replanting the prunings every 5 days!
The crinum is amazingly long and if the stems are straightened would reach beyond the tank now!
The Indian swords are looking good...just not growing like the swords I had in the past.
Microswords look the same as when I bought them heightwise, colorwise they got a bit more brighter in the green color.
Dwarf Sublata (think that's what it is, looks similar to microsword) is looking good. I'd like to get more, seems to be a slow grower though.

I'm scared to not add anything to the tank for the plants with all the lighting I have over the tank.

I was too at first and figured I could just toss something in if they were starting to go downhill. Right now I have the 260 watt fixture over the 90...using Two 65watt 6700K bulbs toward the front and Two 65watt 50/50 (10,000k/620nm actinic) bulbs towards the back.

    And I've got 156 watts over 30 gallons. :) That's why I'm scared.

Actually in all seriousness, you should get a CO2 tank!

That matters more than the ferts! And there is nothing you cannot grow in there then!

Yeah, I'm waiting to see if I can get away without doing cO2. I've been trying to only run 2 bulbs (1 10k and 1 Actinic) for the majority of the day and manually switching on the other 2 10k's on mid day for a few hours.

Still, you have a VERY high output on that tank.... who knows though! CO2 is quite costly.

That's including the Actinic bulb too, which technically shouldn't really count IMO.

I was told to NOT count actinics when calculating watts per gallon.
