    Re: Amano Shrimp

It will be a bit later.... I am home now, gotta take the kids to the babysitter and have to leave to do a remote install around 11.... My tank is off now and I am not turning it on... I might grab a shot around 9 or 10 today and turn the lights on for the day early then but right now I am not going to.

Here is kind of a description of the infection:
Micro Swords - starting to get beard growth
Chain Swords - pretty covered in beard
Driftwood - starting to look green and fuzzy.... about 80% covered on 1 piece with a light infection of beard
Amazon Swords - Starting to get a bit of fuzz on them, rather minimal though
Anubias - Starting to get fuzzy
Filter Intakes - fairly large spots of established beard growth
Some Rocks - light established bead growth

This all poped up in like a week! At this rate I will have fuzzy fish in another week! :)

whoohoohaahaahaa The algae is mostly red now!!!! I put the lights on early and noticed that almost all of the algae went from dark green last night to red today!!!! Another bottle of peroxide and another dose in a few days and this stuff will be HISTORY!!!! *hopefully!

    Re: Amano Shrimp

I know.... not too upset about it... I REALLY want that algae gone... The discus seem fine though!

That just means I will have to get another load of Cardinals soon! Hopefully my Angels will pull through and spawn again!

    Re: Amano Shrimp

Tetras are great but sometimes die easy I think. Well Maybe you should wait with adding some?

    Re: Amano Shrimp

    :) I have to!!!! I am broke!

Yeah, Cardinals are even more sensitive than other strains.... I lost 7 over the past few months from moving them when I cleaned the tank.... so I lost 4 last night!

The bad thing is I cannot find bodies..... I am also missing 1 GBR (it has been missing a few days now?!?) Again, no body?

I kind of accept a loss, and with sensitive fish like Cardinals and GBR's its going to happen... heck even with Discus it happens!

    Re: Amano Shrimp

I agree and ALL of those fish that are missing are WAY too big to fit in ANYTHINGs mouth!!

I have peeked in my plants, under rocks, around driftwood, the intake prefilters and see nothing?
