    BLACK-BELLIED LIMIA
    Also: Blue Limia

    Family:Live-bearing toothcarp of the family Poeciliidae.
    Characteristics:2.5 in, male has copulatory organ.
    Tank/Water:12.5g, water types 4-6, 72-83F.
    Care:Moderately lit aquariums with both loosely and densely planted parts and with gentle water movement; two or three males with six or more females. Feed flakes containing plant matter, and small live and frozen foods.
    Habits:Lively inhabitant of streams. Surface fish.
    Compatibility:Small Central American cichlids (Archocentrus) or blind cave characins.
