    BLACK DARTER TETRA
    Also: Black morpho tetra

    Family:Tetras, Characidae.
    Characteristics:2 in, male larger-finned and more colorful.
    Tank/Water:12.5g, water types 1-3, 79-85F.
    Care:Keep two males with several females in an aquarium with narrow tube-shaped hiding places. Demanding where water quality is concerned. These fish accept only live food.
    Habits:Unlike "normal" tetras, this fish inhabits small caves and lives in hiding; the males are territorial and even perform brood care. Origin: drainage area of the Rio Negro.
    Compatibility:Only with peaceful surface dwellers.
