Can New Plants Contaminate?

    i bought a ozelot in a pot, and dropped it in my tank. Two days later my clown loach had ick. three weeks after treating for ick i notice the same loach now has velvet. Needless to say its dead now...grew this loach from about an inch to six inches. I wish i had known things could come in on plants!!! :oops:
