    Celebes Halfbeak

    Family:Halfbeaks, Hemirhamphidae.
    Characteristics:3.5 in, male more brightly colored.
    Tank/Water:625g, water types 3-5, 68-76F.
    Care:Elongated tanks with plenty of water movement and furnished with peb bles and hiding places. Plantings along the sides in tanks with low water movement. One male with several females. Highly nutritious live foods (young house crickets, fry of other fish species). Dry food as supplement.
    Habits:Group fish that hunts insects in hill streams on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.
    Compatibility:With hillstream fish from other geographic regions, such as Gastromyzon or Chaetostoma.
