We have two crabs, one male and one female in our brackish tank with a puffer and knight goby. Today there is a body of another crab that looks almost white but the male and female are both still alive. Do they shed their skin or does anyone know what could have happened?

Yes, they shed their outer shell as they grow.

I know with the freshwater ones your supposed to leave it there. something about getting calcium from them (they do). Not sure about the salty ones though?
