the pleco may eat the eggs, otherwise I would say just make sure there is good circulation in the tank and all the parameters are within reason and you should be good to go.

I know i need to do a water change this week. Can i still do it? What about the posibility of the fry getting sucked up into the filters?

You can and should water change.... Myself, I would do a bit less...

As far as the filter, yes it can and probably will suck them up.... Sponge filter and no power filter is the way to go... (unless you get a large enough sponge for the intake)

I tried pantyhose and filter polyester on the filter intake with my Angels and they got pulled into it and could not move.... well needless to say I ended up with about 40 less Angels then

ok so i thought i had at least another day before they hatched but when i got home today i found most of the eggs were. Would a dried sea sponge work to cover the intake on my filters for now until i can get a sponge filter or another tank up?

That should be fine as long as it's clean.
