Dwarf Frog (Advice & Questions Regarding Fungus)

    So after i put the new fish in my tank, i noticed that one of my frogs now has the fungus. It's now on one of his feet. I don't know if it's shedding but i really think it looks like it's the fungus, again i can't get a good picture. And the foot that it's on deffinently looks different than the other. And the white looks the same as what my fish has. I really don't know what's going on with my tank, i've never had this before :/

    IF it is a fungal you should quarantine and be able to use an antifungal medicine in addition to aquarium salt at low doses (keep a watch on how well the salt is tolerated and start with the smallest does recommended)...and of course keep water clean. The larger majority of fungus's can't exist where salt traces are present.
    Hopefully he'll be back to feeling froggy in no time :)

    ok, i'll try the stuff that i did for my fish again, i just hope it doesnt spread as quickly on my frog as it did my fish

    most deffinently, it's not spreading as fast at it was with my fish, so it's already doing better than the fish did. I just feel really bad for him though :( i saw him in his zen mode earlier today so it must not be bothering him to much

    So i took my frog to the vet that i work at, and he got treatment :D so what my boss gave me is Miconosol lotion 1% antifungual liquid. I have to apply that on a qutip and swab it on his infected area. Then i also have some chlorhexamine to put a few drops in his quaratine tank and his normal home. And just from the swab this earlier today it's already looking better

    i did get the PimaFix but i just wanted to see if my work could do anything, but i think my stuff that i got from my work might work faster as it's already getting better

    I used Erithromycin on the first fish I had with fungus. Fish cleared up in 2 days and then the fungus came back. I've had a lot of luck with the Pimafix. Definitely keep us posted on how the other stuff works.
