Dying guppies

    Please help me i dont know whats going on here :cry: 2 or my guppies died.. i dont know why...i have been water changes every week i put dechlorinator in the tanks after every water change i dont know why they are dying..Please help me quick... they are having like a fuzzy white coat on them..HELP QUICK PLEASE :oops: :cry: :cry: :oops: :|

    Please be sure to include all of the following.

    pH
    Ammonia Level
    Nitrite Level
    Nitrate Level
    Water Temperature
    Tank Size
    How Often You Do Water Changes And What Percent You Change

    well its soem what your water the fuzzy stuff is fungus and its a really nasty killer if you dont treat asap they will die you should do like 50% water change and get fungus eliminator its the only kind that really works for me (it litterally burns it off) lemon would tell you to use pimafix and melafix i guess you could use that to. but also depending how bad it is it might survive might not i lost 2 discus in the past due to this when i was moving them they got scraped against some sharp rocks and got it and i did like 80% water changes!!! so good luck

    :cry: i cant keep spending so much money on these fish taht just die thats the thing......ive had ALOT of fish and they die i do water changes weekly and feed them everyday i dont know man :oops: sucks

    get some better filters and fungus is always a problem just clean gravel very well and stuff correct

    scottbeck, you need to provide the answer to the questions I asked. "All of those are great" to one person may not really be great.

    just when you do water changes mix around the gravel a bit

    without providing readings and mainten. theirs little we can do to help you other than to make "guesses" as to what the cause is.

    As Anthony stated readings are crucial to providing you with the correct ways to remedy any possible issues.

    i have a ? if a fish is say "sick" can it get other fish sick? i got a fish and a day later or so it got sick and then another fish got the same thing....is that possible because all my other fish are fine :confused:

    it can definatly spread... its just like if some one gets a cold theirs a very slim chance you wont get one but if they keep the air(water) clean and feeds the sick cold medication(water treatments) then you could heal same thing

    thats what happened then!!!! i need to go to the dr for medication :) ill figure out something...i changed the water and everything and they are doing fine.. so its all good but i still need to get the meds for them ;)
