Those are guppy's, I don't have them, they breed like mouses.

Close. They're related to guppies. They're Endler's Livebearers.

Thanks for posting. Good looking fish and beautiful colouring. ;)

Does the size they reach depend on their habitat?

Nope. Females should always be about 1 inch long and males about 3/4 of an inch.

Very rarely have I heard of anyone seeing Endler's at pet stores. Even less likely is finding pure Endler's at a pet store.

I got mine from Peter Tran. His Endler's are from Adrian who is involved in an Endler conservation program because these fish are endangered.

Those are beautiful fish. It makes me want to get a new aquarium and stock it.

I too thought they were guppies. Guess you learn something new every day.

Yeah, they are! If you're interested I can sell you some once I move my tank from VT to VA. Hopefully I'll be doing that sometime this month.

Do you mean are there hybrids ? Yes there are, some hybrids can look like Endler's and some like Guppies. Female Guppies and Endler's like almost exactly alike so you can't go by how they look.

Leslie, they might have also been feeder guppies. They look very similar to endlers
